- The Fun-fair
(end of May/early September)Twice a year the fair comes to Abergavenny and takes over the Fairfield car-park. A tradition dating back centuries.
- The Festival of Abergavenny
(Summer)During July and August, a programme of cultured events takes place, from Shakespeare in the grounds of the castle to open-air musical concerts in Linda Vista gardens.
