The River Usk is widely renowned as one of the best salmon rivers in Wales. With various stretches of the river dedicated to fishing, even the beginner should be able to land something worthy of the dinner table!

You can also find anglers trying their luck along the Monmouthshire and Brecon canal. You will need a license in order to fish along the canal, but this is inexpensive. Contact the local tourist information centre for more details.
